Stage 2 Teaching
Online "Teams" based programme of Stage 2 focused topics. Links will be sent by the NES/Deanery administrators, please keep your email on Turas up-to-date to ensure you receive these emails. Presentations will run from 14:00 to 16:00, usually on the last Wednesday of each month. (excluding December and July).

WOS Anaesthetic Regional Teaching:
Final FRCA Written Course
Course Director: Dr Kenneth Fraser
This course runs over 7 weeks via Microsoft Teams from 9 am until 12.30pm. You should have completed significant study for the Final FRCA as this will concentrate on exam technique, practice and feedback. Candidates are expected to attend every week and to provide feedback on a weekly basis. Places are limited and will be allocated by the faculty. The cost of the course is Β£50 per person and has the approval of the TPD to be deducted from individuals study leave budget. You should apply for 3.5 days of study leave as soon as possible via Turas using the first day of the course on the study leave request form.

WOS Anaesthetic Regional Teaching:
Final FRCA SOE Course
The West of Scotland Final SOE course, provides realistic consultant led practice and feedback to prepare candidates sitting the Final SOE exam in London. The course takes into account recent examination changes and faculty includes current and future RCOA examiners. Candidate numbers are limited.
The course venue is either the Teaching and Learning Centre on the QEUH campus or the Simulation Centre at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons on Blythswood Square, Glasgow, depending on availability.
The course runs for 2 full days approximately 3 weeks before the exam.
